Harbor Breeze Cruises operates out of Long Beach, California. We have offered affordable burial at sea services for seven years. Harbor Breeze Cruises is not a broker, we own and operate US Coast Guard Certified and Inspected vessels. Our experienced crew is extremely knowledgeable and helpful when attending to families and friends who are ready to say farewell to a loved one. We will provide a ceremony that will truly honor the memory and celebrate the life of your loved one.

Our memorials take place in the mornings, usually at or before 10:00am. Family and friends will have their own private boat; we do not combine multiple groups. We want you to have a ceremony that is specifically yours. We take family and friends onto the Pacific Ocean and the vessel will come to a stop. The captain and first mate will gather guests, at which time guests may carry out a concise ceremony. There is no right or wrong way to say farewell; music may be played, personal stories may be told, whatever the family feels appropriate for the situation is fine and greatly accepted. The Captain will say The Commitment to the Sea (Nautical Prayer), if okay by the family. Cremated remains will be lowered into the water by a family member with the help from our first mate. Flowers may be tossed onto the area as the vessel circles the area twice.

If requested, a certificate will be mailed out shortly after the ceremony and will include the exact coordinates. In the moment you wish to revisit the final resting place in the future, simply bring the coordinates with you and we will be happy to bring you back.
